Michael Harper

Michael Harper is a writer who specializes in working with technology companies to make the complex simple. He works as a copywriter for Avenue A | Razorfish, which mostly entails being a combination typist/thesaurus for hire. In the past, he has leveraged his ability to use big words and hold liquor with co-workers for Configuration Management, Inc., Lucent and AOL. Beyond writing, he also has experience as an editor, designer, event planner and waiter.

With additional experience outside of the technology industry, Michael has worked for public relations agencies, magazines and non-profit foundations. His proudest achievement is handing out flyers to elect a democrat in his city council district. Also, the fact that very, very rarely, someone reads his blog who is not a blood relation.

Michael holds a BA in English Literature from New York University. He lives alone in New York because he can’t even keep a plant alive, much less a pet.
